Pastel Morning Woven Tapestry
This tapestry was born of a desire to challenge myself to work with a limited palette and create a weaving based on the view across the lake at my family cabin. We sit out on the dock most mornings from May to October, drinking coffee and either embracing or contending with the elements: bugs, cold, heat, wind. I wanted this piece to capture that morning stillness when the colors are transitioning from muted to bright as the sun rises above the trees.
18" x 14.5"
100% Wool
