Past Commissions
Krokbragd, which translates to “crooked path”, is a three-shaft twill pattern typically woven on a floor loom. This rug, however, was woven manually on a large frame loom. This required engaging the hands, eyes, and memory to do the work that on a floor loom, threading patterns, foot pedals, and shafts would do for you.
Colorful, richly textured rugs ground you in your space. This thick handwoven rug is perfect for the bedside, hearth, or hallway.
To mount on the wall, use small nails or tacks through the weft at the top and bottom of the rug. Be sure to use 3 or more per end to avoid drooping or putting too much pressure on the fiber.
