Every June, lupines cover the roadways with purples, pinks, and blues in northern Minnesota. Invasive though they may be, they are incredibly beautiful. Fascinated by their structure, the artist wanted to zoom in on a single bud of the head of the flower with “Lupine Blossom.” With pinks, violets, and greens, this 12 inch by 15 inch floral wall hanging is perfect for any room in need of a touch of nature and burst of botanical color.
Handwoven on a vintage tapestry loom
100% wool fibers on cotton warp
Mounted on a flat wooden rod with a single metal hoop for easy mounting and leveling
